USSL Triple A's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 21st , 2062 One of the league's most exciting young players, Carl Flowers of the Tortolita Drummers earned himself USSL Triple A Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 24-year-old first baseman had a lofty .400 average (8-for-20), collecting 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season, Flowers has hit 19 home runs and posted a .386 batting average. |
