5-for-5 Game for Allison Monday, August 21st , 2062 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Steve Allison, it came around today. The 25-year-old right fielder scattered hits all over Pride Park to pace the 12-1 Hartford Pride victory over the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves. Philadelphia skipper Kiril Neuvel told reporters in the press room that "Allison deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Allison hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Steve Allison singled in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Allison is currently batting .276 with 7 home runs and 29 RBIs.
