Port Huron Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Tuesday, August 17th , 2060 Frank Randolf said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Port Huron Blitzkrieg after they missed the USSL Triple A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Blitzkrieg have made the playoffs 5 times in their 21 years as a USSL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2036. In the last 10 seasons, the Blitzkrieg have only made the playoffs once. Port Huron last won the SL AAA Championship in 2036. |
