Flowers Awarded August's SAAA Top Bat Prize Friday, September 1st , 2062 At only 24 years of age, Carl Flowers could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Tortolita Drummers, as August was one to remember for the first baseman and he has captured the USSL Triple A Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .346 with 7 home runs, 27 RBIs and 13 runs scored. So far this year, Flowers is batting .380 with 21 home runs. |
