Hot Chickens Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 24th , 2058 Jack Peters said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Nashville Hot Chickens after they missed the USSL Triple A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Hot Chickens have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 20 years as a USSL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2040. In the last 10 seasons, the Hot Chickens have only made the playoffs once. Nashville last won the SL AAA Championship in 2040. |
