Playoff Bound: Monongahela Secures Wild Card Friday, September 16th , 2061 The Monongahela Monsters have secured a berth in the USSL Triple A playoffs. The club officially claimed a wild card position today, on the strength of their 59-40 record. "Obviously we would have liked to have won the Silver AAA, but we're still proud of our accomplishment," said starting pitcher Lee Wood. The club will be vying for their franchise's 4th championship when the playoffs get underway. |
