SAAA's Star Player Named Monday, September 17th , 2063 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Dave Cahill, the Tortolita Drummers 24-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for USSL Triple A Player of the Week honors. He ripped 8 hits in 12 at-bats, compiling a .667 average with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. Cahill is batting at a .325 pace this season, picking up 107 hits in 329 at-bats with 24 home runs, 75 RBIs and 55 runs scored. |
