Scott Scores SAAA Best Hurler Honors Saturday, October 6th , 2057 Gene Scott joined an elite group of pitchers today by picking up the USSL Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2057. The 31-year-old hurler finished the year 8-6 for the Alaskan Humpbacks, piling up 149 innings, registering 112 strikeouts and walking 52 on his way to a solid 2.48 ERA. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Rick Dunlap of the Sioux Falls Red Pandas finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Nathan Sims of the Jersey City Tritons finished third.
