Ping Grabs SAAA Reliever of the Year Award Thursday, October 5th , 2062 The Reliever of the Year Award goes to the USSL Triple A reliever who put forward the strongest season. This season, that player was Wan-hua Ping of the Calgary Lynx, who was above all his peers in 2062. "I just feel like the ball was doing what I wanted it to this year and I was in command most nights out there," he said. "Some days you don't have your best stuff, but I didn't have too many of those days this year." On the season, Ping pitched 77 innings, with 63 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.22. He also had 6 saves in 25 relief appearances. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Robert O'Reilly of the Norfolk Pajaritos finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Bill Carson of the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves finished third.
