Flowers Selected SAAA's Premier Player Monday, October 9th , 2062 Carl Flowers took USSL Triple A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24. For his spectacular campaign, the Tortolita Drummers star has been named the 2062 USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman. On the season he compiled a .383 batting average to go with a .444 on-base percentage. The native of Parkville, Maryland also added 30 doubles, 1 triple, 23 home runs, 87 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Christian McFarland of the Norfolk Pajaritos finished second in voting, while Chris Blanchard of the Monongahela Monsters finished third.
