SAAA's Top Player Named Monday, June 11th, 2035 25-year-old Marcel Roks made a few Vermont headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 15 hits in 26 at-bats to put up a .577 average. Roks collected 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Roks currently has a .436 batting average with 41 hits, 4 homers, 17 RBIs, 16 runs scored and a .480 OBP. |
