Fighting Dachshunds William Moore Down and Out for Year Monday, May 17th , 2055 The season is apparently over for William Moore. The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds medical staff informed the club that the second baseman will be out at least 9 months with a broken kneecap. Moore was hurt in the game against Norfolk while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Moore has delivered 9 hits in 40 at-bats for a .225 average with no home runs. He is getting on base at a .295 clip and his totals also include 0 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
