Vroom Must Sit Out 2 Games Wednesday, May 18th , 2061 Syracuse's Mart Vroom has been given a 2-game suspension for his outburst following an ejection in a recent game with the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at The Bamboo Forest. He was called out on a third strike by the plate umpire and halted the game to argue about it. The disgusted Vroom slowly walked back to the dugout with bat in hand, but suddenly turned around and headed toward the umpire. He was stopped by the on-deck hitter and third base coach as his manager continued to argue the call. A moment later, Vroom was ejected. For the year, Vroom has hit .128 with 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and scored 5 runs. |
