Camp Belts Bunch of Base Hits Wednesday, June 15th, 2044 Jeff Camp was sizzling at the plate today. The Forest City second baseman blistered the Athletic Club KC Reserves for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to a 7-6 defeat. "Camp was too tough to get out today," Reserves skipper Philippe Parmentier said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Jeff Camp singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Gabel Ambrosius in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
