25 Games in a Row for Crawford Sunday, June 5th , 2061 The Lancaster Farmers may have proven to be mere mortals as they lost, 4-3, to the Minnesota Loons, but Joe Crawford continued to hit like a god. The designated hitter collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. "Crawford is playing great and is on fire right now," Farmers manager Young-hwan Hyon said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Crawford was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Joe Crawford singled in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This season, Crawford is batting .316 with 10 home runs.
