Grimes Crowned Top 3AA Hitter in July Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21 Jack Grimes has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Tacoma Fur Traders star can enjoy the numbers he put up in July, which have garnered him the nod as the M3L Double A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .375 average with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Looking at his present stats, Grimes has compiled a .318 batting average in 53 games with a .366 on-base percentage, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 30 runs. |
