Witt Cracks 5 Hits Saturday, May 21st , 2061 Ryan Witt was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at The Igloo, the Billings catcher blistered the St. Petersburg Thunder for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 15-12 victory. "Witt was too tough to get out," Thunder skipper Alejandro Mingo said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Ryan Witt hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Francis Owens in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Troy Edwards in the 10th.
