Thursday, August 2nd , 2063
Alexander Shuker will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Minnesota starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Shuker was injured while throwing a pitch in the Loons-Pilgrims clash at Field of Plenty recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 9-10 months.
Shuker has posted a 6-4 record for the year with a 2.98 ERA. Teams are hitting .252 against him and he has rung up 70 strikeouts in 87.2 innings.
