Season May Be Over for Fur Traders Matsuoka Sunday, July 28th , 2058 The season is ending on a bad note for Tetsuzan Matsuoka, starting pitcher for the Tacoma Fur Traders. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Matsuoka was hurt against the Lake Murray MotorBoaters while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 15 months. Checking out his stats for the year, Matsuoka has racked up 5 wins and 6 losses in 14 starts, posted a 3.87 ERA, and struck out 44 batters in 79 innings. |
