SAA Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Thursday, October 5th , 2062 Daniil Shipko was a calming influence out of the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USSL Double A Reliever of the Year Award for 2062. The Klaipeda, Lithuania native won the award with 34 saves in 43 relief appearances, 36 strikeouts in 41.2 innings and a record of 1-0 to go with his 1.73 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ryan McDaniel of the Minnesota Loons finished second in voting, while Tanzan Jouda of the Philadelphia Liberty Academy finished third.
