Lamb Holds Lake Murray Hitless Sunday, September 15th , 2058 Asheville is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Edward Lamb. The 25-year-old hurler was dominating against the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, leading the Highlanders to a 3-0 win at Asheville Park. "I could tell early on that it was going to be a long day for us," Lake Murray manager David Buchanan said afterward. "He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." Lamb had 11 strikeouts and gave up 1 walk en route to the no-hitter. "Yeah, this was a special day for me," Lamb said. "I had my good stuff and good movement. Good location, too. Even when I made a mistake, I got away with it today."
