SAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Juárez

Manuel Juárez of the Philadelphia Liberty Academy had a fine season and has been rewarded with the USSL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2060.

The Liberty Academy ace fashioned an ERA of 2.32 as he won 8 games, dropped 5, fanned 105 and gave up 36 walks in 112.2 innings of work.

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Gunnar Hamilton of the Vancouver Vipers finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Rick Hartsfield of the Minnesota Loons finished third.
