Great Week for Minnesota's Manuel Ortíz Monday, August 10th , 2054 Manuel Ortíz of the Minnesota Loons was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Ortíz put up some great numbers and hauled in the USPL Double A Player of the Week trophy. He hit .625 with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs. The 26-year-old right fielder also scored 4 runs and for the week went 5-for-8. So far this season Ortíz has 4 home runs and a .273 batting average. |
