The future looks extremely bright for Brian Neame. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Double A.

Neame has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.

"I didn't expect to hit .350 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.

The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles star also put up a .477 on-base percentage this year, with 62 hits, 11 doubles, no triples, 25 home runs, 61 RBIs and 46 runs scored.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. José Hernández of the Crescent City Krewe finished second in voting, while Andy McGee of the Asheville Highlanders finished third.
