Parker Hurls Turbeaus to Shutout Victory Sunday, September 3rd , 2062 It wasn't easy but Jon Parker made it look that way. Parker silenced the Crescent City Krewe, 4-0, in a Gulf Coast Turbeaus triumph at Field of the Krewe. Despite the appearance of dominance, Parker said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 5 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." To date this season, Parker is 2-6 with 8 starts and an ERA of 5.18 with 22 strikeouts in 48.2 innings.
