5-Hit Blitz by González Sunday, September 16th , 2063 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Vicente González, it came around today. The 26-year-old right fielder scattered hits all over Experimental Stadium to pace the 5-3 Philadelphia Liberty Academy victory over the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs. Gwinnett skipper Cary Collins told reporters in the press room that "González deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, González hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Vicente González doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and singled in the 10th. This season, González is batting .283 with 6 home runs.
