PAA's Top Player for 2058 Named Sunday, October 6th , 2058 Scott Ward took USPL Double A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26. For his spectacular campaign, the Crescent City Krewe star has been named the 2058 USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the third baseman. On the season he compiled a .330 batting average to go with a .421 on-base percentage. The native of Laredo, Texas also added 7 doubles, no triples, 23 home runs, 57 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Frazer Gent of the St. Petersburg Thunder finished second in voting, while Adam Bell of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished third with 1 first place vote.
