Sonics Pitching Ravaged by Flores Tuesday, May 31st, 2039 It was high-fives all around for Fernando Flores at Mercer Island Grounds today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Atlantic City Sonics. Flores smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 6-2 win. "Fernando was hitting everything," said Screaming Eagles manager António Molina. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Sonics manager Juan López told BNN beat writers that Flores "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," he said. "Hopefully, Flores oversleeps next time." Fernando Flores singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
