Vervoort Stops Fort Knox Cold, 5-0 Thursday, June 8th , 2062 The Fort Knox Centennial met their match today in Tulsa hurler Boudewijn Vervoort. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Fort Knox skipper Michael Malloy said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 5-0 victory, Vervoort whiffed 8 and gave up 1 walk.
