Bautista 5-for-6 Against Crowley Friday, June 9th , 2062 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Iván Bautista of the Beaumont Crossbeaus had one such moment at Titans Ballpark, when he went 5 for 6 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Beaumont succumbed to defeat, 8-7, to the Crowley Cajuns. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 21-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." Iván Bautista doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
