Mata on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Crowley Monday, August 10th , 2054 Alberto Mata did a number on the Cajuns in the Amarillo 8-2 victory today, and the number was 5. The Warheads first baseman banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Titans Ballpark to lead his club past the Crowley Cajuns. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." Alberto Mata hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ted Bottone in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
