Crowley Comes up Empty Against Torres Saturday, August 2nd , 2059 The Redwood Rhinos did little to support starter Pedro Torres against the Crowley Cajuns, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The left-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Cajuns, striking out 6 and surrendering 1 hit. The performance from Torres allowed Redwood to escape with the 2-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Pedro, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Torres told BNN reporters following the win.
