Rhinos Top Beavers Sunday, September 11th , 2061 A celebratory mood filled the air as the Redwood Rhinos closed out the season with a 6-3 victory over the Northwest Territory Beavers at Beaver Town to capture the PL R Championchip, 2-1. Giving the Beavers credit for a hard-fought series, Rhinos players said they believed throughout the postseason that their "destiny" was to be crowned USPL Low A champions. "We felt like this was our year all season long," said shortstop Bartolo García, who was named series MVP. "It was our destiny to win it and we did." It was the 2nd in franchise history. During the Premier Low A regular season Redwood put up a 67-29 record and finished first. "They're the champions and they deserve it," said a dejected Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker.
