Fort Knox Sweeps Amarillo Sunday, September 9th , 2057 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Fort Knox Centennial, that meant the USPL Low A PL R Championchip trophy. The Centennial took a 5-1 victory over the Amarillo Warheads at Ballpark of Baxter, winning their 14th championship after taking the series 2-0. "We've got grit," said Centennial third baseman David Acevedo, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
