Caro Belts Bunch of Base Hits Friday, August 24th , 2063 Some moments become linked with a particular player's career forever. Roberto Caro of the Ogallala Octopi had one of those moments when he went 5-for-6 at the plate in his team's 6-3 win over the Beaumont Crossbeaus at The Target. "I won't forget this anytime soon, and I don't expect it to happen too often," the 20-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "I'll be happy to just get a hit or two every day. Enough to hang around the league a while longer. Like 10, maybe 15 more years." Roberto Caro flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
