Baby Lakers Beat Liberty U-21 in SL R Championship Sunday, September 11th , 2061 The Bompton Baby Lakers pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the SL R Championship in a hard-fought series with the Philadelphia Liberty U-21. It was a seesaw affair, but with a 9-5 victory at Ballpark of Liberty, Bompton lay claim to the franchise's 3rd championship. "There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Kurt Morse. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today." The champs finished the regular season 68-28 and claimed first place in the Silver Low A.
