Roy Pitches Gem as Beavers Beat Quebec City, 6-0 Thursday, August 25th , 2061 The Quebec City Baby Blues met their match today in Ballard hurler George Roy. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Quebec City skipper Mauro Rangel said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 6-0 victory, Roy whiffed 5 and gave up 1 walk. Roy has made 15 starts, tossed 111.1 innings, struck out 70 batters and walked 18. His record is 10-3 with a 2.18 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .218 batting average.
