Zero Hour: Campbell Blanks Gators Friday, August 18th , 2062 In a remarkable performance, Ballard Beavers starter Bruce Campbell beat the North Ft. Myers Gators, 6-0, in an impressive 1-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Beavers hurler finished with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," North Ft. Myers manager Felipe Palazzola said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
