North Ft. Myers Lose, 5-0, to Ducks, Gonzáles Wednesday, May 3rd , 2062 Arturo Gonzáles of the Long Island Ducks was on top of his game. The 19-year-old tantalized the North Ft. Myers Gators with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 5-0. "He had the changeup working," North Ft. Myers manager Felipe Palazzola said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The Long Island hurler had 3 strikeouts, gave up 1 walk and surrendered 3 hits in his complete-game effort.
