Bence Sensational, 5-for-6 Thursday, May 18th , 2062 The MSL Buffalo White Walkers stopped the MSL Toledo Stingers by a score of 11-3 at MSL Toledo Ballpark, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Stephen Bence. The 18-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Bence said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Bence did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Stingers. "Not much that I can say," offered MSL Toledo manager José Pinto. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Stephen Bence singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Bence is hitting at a .455 mark this season.
