Ruíz Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Thursday, August 9th , 2063 It was a sensational day at the plate for MSL Buffalo White Walkers second baseman Alberto Ruíz, but a tough one for the team, as the White Walkers dropped the contest, 8-7, to the MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves. Even with the loss, Ruíz was pure misery for the MSL Vancouver pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-6 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Ruíz, who is the 17-year old second baseman . "Ruíz really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Grey Wolves manager Roy Bagnall told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Alberto Ruíz flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
