Pushkin Slaps 5 Hits Sunday, August 7th , 2061 It was a great day at the plate for Vladimir Pushkin. For his MSL Charleston Battery, the day was not nearly as good. The center fielder collected 5 hits in 5 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The MSL Vancouver Grey Wolves snatched the victory, topping the Battery by a score of 6-4. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Pushkin said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Vladimir Pushkin singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and tripled in the 8th. So far this season, Pushkin is batting .331 with 2 home runs.
