Poons Goes 5-for-5 Against MSL Dayton Monday, August 23rd , 2060 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Windle Poons. Poons went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off MSL Dayton pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at MSL Dayton Ballpark, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the MSL Oakland Oaks had a win, 8-2, over the Dirty Reds. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Windle Poons singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Ryan Cross in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
