Guinea Pigs Walk It Off for 31st Win of Season
The Philadelphia Liberty Academy could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jordan Counsell into a win. Instead, the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs prevailed, 3-1. Counsell threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Hyung-oo Cho snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.2 innings. He's now 4-0 on the season. Gwinnett is now 31-22, while Philadelphia is 27-26.

Gwinnett got a knockout punch from Harry Austin. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Austin told reporters after the game.
