Liberty Academy Rally Late to Nip Guinea Pigs
In a low-scoring contest between the Philadelphia Liberty Academy and the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, Ánibal Ramos, who is tied for 2nd in the SAA in wins with 7, proved to be the difference. The Philadelphia right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Liberty Academy win. Philadelphia pitcher Tim Jones got the win. He's now 2-1. Hyung-oo Cho was tagged with the loss. The Liberty Academy now have a record of 38-35.

The Liberty Academy got a clutch hit from third baseman António García. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Liberty Academy.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Ramos. "Successful pitchers do it."
