Great Day for Kodo -- 5 Hits Thursday, May 31st , 2063 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Munoto Kodo -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Psychos Ballpark, but the performance lost a little luster when the Men were downed, 19-14, by the Hudson Bay Redwoods. After his glittering performance, the Florida third baseman told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat." His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. "I just wish we had added a win in the record book, too," Kodo said. Munoto Kodo singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off David García in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far on the season, Kodo is hitting .333 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 24 hits and played in 20 games. View Boxscore View Game Log |
