Huffman Rips Salt Lake City for 5 Hits Wednesday, June 21st , 2062 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Jeff Huffman -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Dodos Ballpark, but the performance lost a little luster when the Dodos were downed, 11-6, by the Salt Lake City Buzz. After his glittering performance, the Hialeah center fielder told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat." His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. "I just wish we had added a win in the record book, too," Huffman said. Jeff Huffman singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
