Salt Lake City Blanks Port Royal, 8-0 Sunday, August 29th , 2060 It wasn't easy but the Salt Lake City Buzz made it look that way. Starter Tony Powell shut out the Port Royal Disaster despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Salt Lake City Buzz cruised to victory, 8-0. Powell allowed only 2 hits and rang up 5 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
