López Twirls 8-0 Shutout for Disaster Friday, September 14th , 2063 In an excellent mound performance, Juan López of the Port Royal Disaster blanked the Nashville Hot Chickens, 8-0, on a 3-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Port Royal hurler rang up 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Hot Chickens manager Paul Dawsey. "López did a good job keeping us guessing."
