3L AAA Championship Sweep for Milton Friday, September 22nd , 2062 It's party time in Milton. The confetti is flying and residents are smiling. The Milton Dogfish Head have reached the mountaintop, capturing the 2062 3L AAA Championship today. They defeated the Hudson Bay Redwoods 11-0 at Milton Corner Tavern to officially wrap up the series 2-0. Asked how it feels to be a champion, designated hitter Jonathan Boden was to the point. "It feels great, like a million bucks. I'm so happy right now, not just for me but for all the guys," he said. "We put a lot of work into this and deserve to be champions." The team is planning a victory parade and fan appreciation day later in the week. Milton finished the regular season 64-38 and claimed first place in the Menard's AAA. View Boxscore View Game Log |
